The project is the change of use of a redundant commercial Tea room in urgent need of environmental improvements to a 3-bedroom residential dwelling.
The proposals include the reconfiguration of the property into a low energy residential dwelling with external courtyard amenity space, bicycle store bin store and access from Church Road
With agreement with the client, we have opted to reuse the existing building rather than demolish and re-build to ensure we reduce the carbon footprint for the project. This minimises the construction, and materials required, furthering the credibility as a fabric first, low carbon scheme
