Project Brief
RSA have completed the internal refurbishment, extension and landscape works of a detached cottage on the outskirts of Ashburton leading up to Dartmoor.
Project Detail
The proposals involved the extension and opening up of a family room containing a new kitchen, dining and living accommodation. Expansive glass offers a physical and visual connection to the creatively designed landscape and fire pit. The building is used extensively for socialising and as a vibrant family room environment.
We worked collaboratively with the client to provide a cost-effective extension which allowed the family to connect with the garden and its outbuildings.
The design seamlessly links the living residence with the artfully designed garden which includes fire pits, play areas, unique plant collections and a poker den.
